Hi there! I'm Kevin , UI & design system specialist. From interface design to front-end development, I bridge design and tech teams to build consistent, scalable systems, for every kind of screen.

I've had the opportunity to work with major corporations, startups, agencies, and creatives such as Bêta.gouv and Grist, France TV, Accor, Yousign, Imagile, La Cordée & Checksign. You'll find client case studies further down this page that illustrate my diverse experiences.

I share my work by means of articles and conferences. Between 2017 and 2018, I organised the cssflip Meetup in Rennes, convening designers, integrators and developers to talk about front-end web topics.

Do you wish to discuss any web issues you may be having with your team? Find out more about my work? Or simply have a coffee and a chat? Feel free to write to me at this address bonjour@kevinbizien.com.

UI Design

I design interfaces, from wireframe to high-fidelity mockup, built to be directly implementable in code, like on the full redesign of Yousign, where I built their first design system from a blank page. Focus on screens that hold up once they're in developers' hands.

An interface to rethink, or a product still to be designed from scratch?

Let's talk about your screens.

Design System

I build, audit or mature design systems meant to last, with the foundations, documentation and adoption to go with them, like I did at Accor on the cross-platform design system for the ALL program. Focus on solid foundations, clear documentation and real adoption by the teams.

A design system to build from scratch, or an existing one starting to show its limits?

That's exactly the kind of project I step into.

Front-end Development

I build interfaces in HTML/CSS/JS true to the mockups, on modern stacks like Vue and Nuxt, like on Yousign's marketing site, built in NuxtJS. I work directly from Figma files, to limit back-and-forth and deliver a pixel-perfect result. Focus on a scalable token and UI component architecture that keeps up with the design as it evolves.

UI design, UI development, or both at once?

I adapt to whatever the project actually needs.

Consulting

I help companies put cross-functional design processes in place. From design to interface development, the focus is on implementing scalable, maintainable solutions and tools that fit the company's needs. I help teams build bridges between designers and developers, with the goal of combining efficiency and quality.

Need help setting up a new project? Or refactoring an existing one?

Let's talk about it now!

Rethinking the experience of an open source data tool for the French public sector

Civil servants spend a significant amount of their time wrestling with data: spreadsheets that drift, files that multiply, information that gets lost between departments. Without the right tools, public data remains underused.

Grist changes the equation. This no-code open source tool allows any civil servant to structure their data, create custom views, and share them — without writing a single line of code, without depending on proprietary software. Hosted with full data sovereignty, actively contributed to by France at a European scale, it is a wager on public data as a common good.
